Reviews

'[With] some exceptionally difficult music to sing, Sarah Moule rose to the demands with outrageous ease. The audience were astonished at her volley of coloratura pyrotechnics which underscored her furious aria di parlante 'Va tra le selve'. With staccato high Ds and Es flying all over the place, it was a scintillating and blistering rendition. The voice itself is pure and vibrant, reminiscent of Patrizia Ciofi. A remarkable talent indeed that should, if talent counts for anything today, see her through to the top.'

Antony Lias, Opera Britannia, Nov 2009

'Sarah Moule was a vivid and moving Mandane.'

Andrew Porter, Opera, Jan 2010

‘British soprano Sarah Moule, the berserk Lucy, sang splendidly.’

  Opera

'The cast exemplified the high calibre of young professionals Maazel attracts to Castleton. Two sparkling sopranos, Julia Elise Hardin (Polly) and Sarah Moule (Lucy), competed for the affections of the rogue highwayman Macheath... Maazel was on hand, conducting with customary assurance'

  Financial Times

'Polly and Lucy, Julia Elise Hardin and Sarah Moule were delightful.'

  The Washington Times

‘The most expressive singing came from the wives of Captain MacHeath – Polly Peachum (Julia Elise Hardin) and Lucy Lockit (Sarah Moule). Both sopranos had voices that complemented the other, as the impassioned and bitterly jealous women sang for MacHeath’s favor.’

‘Sarah Moule, a soprano with many vocal colours and an abundance of dramatic talent, delighted the audience with the premiere of Joseph Atkins’s Cry Apples – the amusing, witty, touching, bawdy chat of 18th century street vendors.’

  Stratford Herald

‘Sarah Moule, soaring into the stratosphere with fearless panache.’

  Bath Chronicle

‘A beautiful voice; a beautiful performance.’
